I started TSST...collective as a way to reconnect with my friends around the world through art and small projects. It began with my dear friend Ioana Mona Popovici—we explored themes like balance and asymmetry through a kind of long-distance performance: she created an installation in Iceland, sent me photos, and I responded with drawings. Since then, more friends have joined in with zines, illustrations, photography—whatever feels fun and spontaneous. TSST is a space to play, share, and stay close through making things together.

Community Radio Tbilisi

Back in 2020, my friend and I launched a community radio station in Tbilisi as part of the aPublic Art Platform, supported by the Creative Europe fund. Our aim was to get the local creative scene—especially artists—more involved in producing audio content, with broadcasts in both English and Georgian.

What we didn't realize at the time was how quickly the station would grow in importance. When the pandemic hit and restrictions came in, the radio became a vital space for staying connected. It turned into a kind of meeting point—offering a window into different artistic projects and initiatives led by local artists and curators.

Over time, we began stepping out from behind the mic and into the city itself, organizing interactive public projects and performances.

The radio officially stopped broadcasting in 2022, wrapping up with one final project: our participation in Radio Art Zone, a 100-day radio art program broadcast from Luxembourg, part of the European Capital of Culture 2022.

In 2020, Community Radio Tbilisi teamed up with nearly 30 other stations to broadcast together under the name Common Waves. The project was initiated by Community Radio Tbilisi, Radio Corax in Germany, and Radio Arcada in Santiago, Chile.
